The Scene
Millie’s is the living, breathing embodiment of the Richmond dining experience. Hunkered down in the valley between Church Hill and the old Lucky Strike Warehouse, Millie’s serves amazing cuisine in a history-soaked area of the Bottom. The funky knickknacks, toned-down saffron walls and dark-wood blend create an environment that is cozy and familiar. The service is professional and well-versed in the extensive wine selection.
The Food
If the chalkboard and nightly menus don’t give it away, things change fast here, often with fresh and seasonal offerings. Expect the unfamiliar, the exotic and the fantastic. With crème brulee like this, you can always find a little more room. The brunch menu is slightly more predictable from day to day and every bit as awe-inspiring. But being popular comes with a price; expect a wait at rush hour.
