The historic building that houses Millie’s was once a restaurant for workers at a nearby tobacco plant. This “diner” now serves fabulous gourmet dishes in an upbeat, vintage casual atmosphere. Be sure to check out the funky, individual jukebox offerings.
Try the Devil’s Mess (a house specialty) or specials like lobster scrambled eggs with puff-pastry and cheese-chive sauce at lunch. For dinner, spectacular appetizers like almond-crusted scallops with fried endive and pomegranate drizzle set the stage for fabulous entrees like nutmeg braised veal cheeks with housemade gnocchi served with crimini mushrooms and rapini.
